Thanksgiving and Passing the Torch

We had a fun, low-key Thanksgiving at the Luminati household. Our friends, the Warners, came over with their little 8 month old and we celebrated together. An incredible blessing is before they came to Monterey they lived in Germany, so they've been an invaulable source of information and help. They even recommended to pack my cleaning supplies in the unaccompanied baggage so I have something to to clean our house with (when we finally get in a house). Genius! And by the way, they're scheduled to PCS in two weeks, so we're going to miss you guys!

Here's the girls, hanging out. Of course, they must occupy the same space at the same time.

Sweet smile and a sweet Snow White.

A well-earned break after some hard playing.

And of course, it can't be Thanksgiving without the home-made pie! Love you, Hubby. :)

Last but not least, I have to share with you this video. We am just so proud, we may burst. (Blythe, get out the kleenex; Scarlet, you're already rolling your eyes, I know.)

oh my WORD!! You have already brainwashed that baby girl!! I was ready to cry tears of delight or joy, not sadness! I think we might still have hope for Ellie--she seemed to think the whole Star Box thing was totally weird. At least they are excited to go to the library!

By the way, your pie crust looks amazing!!
