Goodbye, April!

April has come and gone! What a full, busy month. Health update: After four days, K may have finally kicked her fever. Both with the eye-gunk last week and E with her fever, and now K with her fever! Whew. We forget how precious our health is...and our sleep...until the kids get sick.

Anyway....

Here we are with our friend, George. George was our "exchange" student who was studing here at NPS for several months. He spent three months learning English before he came to school and was completely fluent! It was amazing. We were blessed to spend time getting to know him. George is back in his home country of Moldova now, but we hope to see him (and meet his family) again sometime! (And if you know where Moldova is without looking on a map, you get a gold star for the day. :))

I think she's taking after her Aunt Beth. At least, I hope she follows her Aunt Beth's fashion sense, and not her mom's! (She picked out her own clothes, to include the hat.)

I LOVE this shirt. Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Al gave it to K and I'm excited that E can wear it now. To see K wearing it click HERE. K's 17 months old when wearing this shirt and Ellie is almost 12. Crazy!

This is another outfit that I love. It's from Great Gramie and Great Papa, and they sent it for Kate. But now it's Ellie's turn, and she's just as cute as her sister was in it. What fun to see them both in outfits from loved ones!

Playing with Dad. If you look closely, you can see her left eye is kind of squinty. The eye-gunk/sickness marathon is just beginning.

And, last but not least, a video to make you smile!

What a neat experience to have an exchange student stay with you and your family! Probably some nice experiences for the children with somebody from a different culture.
