Vienna!

We had an amazing trip to Vienna. It was busy, fun, exhausting, exciting, wonderful! Here are a few pictures to whet your appetite for the blog postings to come. We were there a week and have over 700 pictures--so there's a lot to go through!

Jon and Kate as we're preparing to take our cruise down the Danube (Donau) River.

Leopold Mozart's violin (Wolfie's father) in the Kunsthistoriches Museum (Art History)

Ellie listening to her audio guide in the Ancient Egyptian section of the Kunsthistoriches. (Don't be too impressed...that only lasted about five minutes.) :)

The incredible Abbey in Melk (about 25 km from Vienna)

Jon and the girls on the U-bahn. The girls LOVED riding the train, and whenever Ellie was in the backpack in the train she insisted on holding the strap above her.

The heart of Vienna, St. Stephen's Cathedral.

And there are PLENTY more to come.

Hopefully you had down time just to chill, but it looks like you definitely took advantage of your time in Vienna by doing really awesome things! What a nice time as a family to be together after Jon's time away.

Hope great that you were able to take a vacation and see that beautiful city! Did you visit the pastry shops or is that a dumb question. Great pics!

Love you,
