A while ago, we began to see an intermittent leak in our roof. Unfortunately, because we have an extra bedroom built into our attic, there's no way to see into the ceiling joists to try and localize the problem. Jon thought about trying to explore the roof himself, but then decided crawling over a high-pitch roof on a four story townhouse wasn't the brightest idea. After exploring a couple of options & opinions, we realized it was probably better to just replace the roof. So now we have a brand new roof and a severely dented bank account ... such are the joys of home ownership.
