Happy Birthday, Jon!

Happy Birthday, Jon! We had a great time celebrating with Ed and Betsy in town. What a week it was! How fast it flew! I'll have to do another post for their visit, but I wanted to celebrate Daddy before too much time passed.

As always, Mommy makes Daddy's birthday pie. This year, I had a helper! Well, she helped for her customary 2 min attention span and moved on. But it was sweet! Thanks to Nana for the matching aprons.

Here are Gram and Pops, posing with the birthday boy.

And the Luminati Fam, younger generation, sporting their green outfits. We wanted to wear green because it's Daddy's favorite color.

Kate, listening intently as Daddy reads the card she got him. She picked it out herself and was excited to have him open and read it with her. (Yes, that is a Wii in the background. Thanks, Pops and Gram!:))

And the finished product--another birthday pie to add to the album. Happy Birthday, Daddy. We love you so much!

And what birthday posting would be complete without a video of the song? Yes, we all sang, but honestly, there's one singer who was cuter than the rest. Ellie chimes in at the end, but I'm sure, will chime in more next year. :)

Oh what a wonderful celebration we had of Jon's birthday. How special to be with you all for his special day and for a WONDERFUL week. It went by oh, so fast and it's so hard now to know the time for this visit is over. We did lots and had so much fun with each of you. Thank you for the posting. We love you all to the moon and back...Mom/Gram + Dad/Pops

Happy Birthday Jon! We got a Wii this past week at our house. Matt and I have had a blast playing. Stephen enjoys playing when we let him. I can tell it is going to be a great family toy!

I love all of the matching outfits, especially the aprons! It is neat that your teaching your little girl to help out with cooking and baking! :)

Jon, What a great birthday celebration you had. We wish we could have been there to be part of the party.
But, having Jon here for this special weekend let us say Happy Birthday to him in person. (He didn't even look a year older). That was another great looking pie. It made my hungry! What a green family you are!
Love,
